At Base Space / UK Holistic Training, we are committed to providing high-quality training courses. As our courses have limited places and require advance planning, we ask all participants to read and understand the following booking terms before making a reservation.

 

Booking Confirmation

 

Your place on a course is confirmed once full payment, or any agreed deposit, has been received and your booking has been accepted.

 

Cancellation by Participants

 

Course places are reserved specifically for each participant and may prevent another person from booking. For this reason, course fees are non-refundable if you are unable to attend, subject always to your statutory rights.

 

This may include circumstances such as:

• Illness or injury

• Family or personal emergencies

• Work commitments

• Travel disruption

• Adverse weather

• Failure to obtain leave from work

• Other unforeseen personal circumstances

 

Insurance and Cancellation Protection

 

As course fees may be non-refundable, you may wish to check whether any existing travel, event, cancellation or other insurance you hold provides protection for non-refundable training fees if unforeseen circumstances prevent you from attending.

 

You may also wish to investigate whether suitable cancellation protection is available to purchase. Please be aware that Base Space / UK Holistic Training does not provide, arrange or recommend any particular insurance product and cannot guarantee that suitable cover will be available.

 

If you choose to obtain insurance or cancellation protection, you should check the terms carefully and confirm directly with the provider that the policy covers non-refundable UK training course fees and is appropriate for your individual circumstances.

 

If you are unable to attend your course, please notify us as soon as possible.

Although course fees are non-refundable, we may, at our discretion, consider a request to transfer your booking to another course date. Any transfer is subject to availability and any conditions we specify. We are under no obligation to offer a transfer.

 

Cancellation by Base Space / UK Holistic Training

 

In the unlikely event that Base Space / UK Holistic Training cancels a course, you will be offered either:

• A transfer to an alternative course date; or

• A full refund of the course fees you have paid.

 

Where reasonably possible, we will give you as much notice as we can.

 

Our responsibility for the cancelled course is limited, to the extent permitted by law, to the course fees you have paid. We are not responsible for additional costs such as travel, accommodation or loss of earnings except where we are legally required to be responsible for them.

 

For this reason, we recommend considering flexible or refundable travel and accommodation arrangements where possible and checking the cancellation terms before making those arrangements.

 

Changes to Courses

 

Occasionally, it may be necessary to make reasonable changes to a course, including changes to instructors, venue within a reasonable distance, timetable or equipment.

Minor changes that do not materially affect the course will not normally entitle participants to a refund.

If a significant change becomes necessary, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible and explain the options available.

 

Your Statutory Rights

 

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or affects any rights or remedies you may have under applicable UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Where the law gives you a right to a refund, cancellation or other remedy, those statutory rights will take priority over the terms of this policy.

 

Acceptance of These Terms

 

By booking a course with Base Space / UK Holistic Training, you confirm that you have read and understood this Booking, Cancellation and Refund Policy and agree to the applicable booking terms.

These terms do not affect your statutory rights.
